 Joe Nance founded Nanco Services, Inc. in 1995. Prior to starting Nanco Services Joe worked for Autec Manufacturing from its inception in 1980, through 1994. Nanco Services, Inc. is primarily a sales, distribution and service company, covering central and eastern North & South Carolina automobile dealers, petroleum operators and retail carwash locations. From day one Nanco Services has carried the Autec soft touch automatic carwash equipment. While still proudly carrying this top of the line automatic equipment as its mainstay, Nanco Services, Inc. has added other Autec models to its product base. Nanco Services now carries Autec's Ev-1 combination machine, which allows the customer to choose a soft touch wash, a touch free wash, or a combination of both. Also available now is Autec's Ev-2 touch free machine, which provides the fastest touch free wash in the industry. Nanco Services now carries in conjunction with the Autec product line a full spectrum of carwash equipment. Nanco Services features glass car wash buildings, Gin San self-serve equipment, vacuums, Pur-Clean spot free rinse systems, reclaim systems, product vendors and many more carwash related products.
 As Nanco Services, Inc. developed Joe recognized the need to expand operations to include all of the equipment that his company was distributing and servicing. Purchasing property on Highway 24 in Swansboro, NC in 1997 Joe started Nance Properties, Inc. This location features an Autec soft touch automatic, four self-serve bays, four vacuums, and also has product vendors. The corporate headquarters of Nanco Services, Inc. is also at this location, as well as the Nanco Services, Inc. warehouse. Nance Properties, Inc. has developed multiple locations featuring Autec automatic carwash equipment, glass carwash buildings, water reclaim system, Pur-Clean spot free rinse system, self -serve equipment, vacuums and product vendors. Operating the carwash locations as independent profit centers gives Nanco Services, Inc. employees in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the carwash business.
 In January of 2000, Nance Properties, Inc. opened its first glass building carwash location in Emerald Isle, NC. This location is a state of the art facility built on only 1/3 acre of land, interfaced with an adjoining BP convenience store that sells carwashes through its gas pumps and register system. Utilizing a closed loop reclaim system has kept water and sewage bills to a minimum while maintaining a high volume of cars. The glass building design was featured on the cover of the March 2000 edition of Professional Carwashing and Detailing magazine, with an article titled "A Clear Vision of The Future".
 In March of 2000, Nance Properties, Inc. opened its quick lube facility. Branded Valvoline Express Care this two bay oil change facility features the full line of Valvoline products. Additional services that are available include tire rotation, radiator flushes and transmission flushes. This facility was built without in-ground pits and was installed as an addition to the Swansboro location. Many customers view this as an added convenience for their automotive needs. Cross marketing of the carwash and quick lube services has added both traffic and profits to the site. Maximizing revenue on existing property while increasing traffic to an established carwash has proven to be very beneficial.
